Meet the Team

We’ve been posting to The Journal for a couple of weeks now, and you all haven’t gotten to meet the wonderful people behind The Lavender District. We work by ourselves and then together on Fridays, to discuss our lives and dreams, and what we hope The Lavender District to become. But that all came with our own stories and lives first. So, meet the wonderful team! And in the spirit of curating The District List, we also shared our personal favorite products right now.

Meet Amy

Amy leads product curation and strategic direction at The Lavender District, grounding the brand in thoughtful research and timeless essentials as one of our Co-Founders and The Curator. With a background in leadership and an intuitive eye for both systems and style, she brings clarity to what the brand offers and how it’s experienced. Her work is guided by the belief that true beauty is lasting, shaped by intention, elevated by function, and rooted in care.

To Amy, a well-lived life is quiet confidence and calm mornings. It’s the golden light through the kitchen window, the first sip of coffee, and a to-do list that feels like alignment. It’s making room for what matters: steady routines, meaningful work, and evenings spent around the table, sharing stories with the people she loves.

Meet Suzanne

Suzanne shapes the long-term vision and evolution of The Lavender District, blending strategy with soul to shape a brand rooted in intentional living and refined beauty as one of the Co-Founders and The Alchemist. At the heart of her work is a belief that luxury is found in the considered details, a lifestyle crafted with purpose, elevated by design, and anchored in authenticity.

In Suzanne’s eyes, a beautiful life begins with rhythm over rush. It is morning light through linen curtains, the grounding scent of lavender from the garden. It is space to think, a favorite record playing in the background, and a journal open beside a steaming cup. It is creative work that feels like service. It is shared meals, time-honored, and conversations that linger. Presence is her measure of a life well-lived.

Meet Madison

Madison shapes the brand vision and storytelling at The Lavender District, weaving design, voice, and feeling into every touchpoint, from web to words as The Creative Director. She approaches her work with a deep appreciation for thoughtful detail, championing sustainability, connection, and the quiet beauty of intentional living. Her creative eye meets a grounded ethos, inviting others into a space that feels both refined and real.

In Madison’s world, a well-lived life is rhythm and warmth. It’s sunlight on clean counters, laughter echoing from the next room, and something delicious simmering on the stove. It’s creative work that feels like play, honest conversation, and moments of presence, made richer with every shared meal, every genuine connection, every little joy.

And of course, don’t forget about all of the people who support us in our lives, because it takes a community and people building you to make you who you are.

The District List: This Week’s Picks

A few things we are loving right now:

  • Weleda Skin Food

    • Amy got Weleda Skin Food for Madison before her trip to Spain; it was in her airplane kit. After applying the face lotion for the first time in the sky, there was no going back. It quickly became her go-to skincare, which Logan now steals daily.

  • Noshinku

    • Another find from Amy: Noshinku hand sanitizer! We all love a cute hand sanitizer, but they are always so big that they can’t fit into our tiny cross-body bags. Noshinku slides right into any bag, and you can refill the sprayers, so you aren’t constantly throwing them away. And of course smells fantastic! We think the Limon scent smells like lemon poppy-seed scones.

  • Little Herbal Apothecary

    • Not quite a single product, but Amy makes the best protein shake in the morning with Mushroom Chocolate from the Little Herbal Apothecary. On top of that product, Amy adds in Om’s Master Blend Plant Protein Creamy Vanilla Powder. It’s the perfect boost in the morning to not only get your body centered but also your mind. Here’s the entire recipe if you're curious about making it yourself:

      • 2 scoops of Om Master Blend Plant Protein Creamy Vanilla Powder

      • 1 TBSP Mushroom Chocolate

      • ¾ Cups of Whole Milk (or milk of choice)

      • 1 Shot of Espresso

      • 1 Scoop of Ice

      • 1 PKG of Stevia (optional)

If you’re interested in our favorite products, let us know, and maybe we will make this a weekly Journal!
